might be re locating to the Ft Collins Co area in June. Is there a certain amount of time you have to be there to qualify for a resident hunting license. The construction economy here in MI is chasing me west.

graybirdchain,
skb2706 is correct. Must be 6 continuous months prior to applying. I just moved to the Colorado Springs area and got my drivers license earlier last month. I won't make be a 'legal resident' for the limited hunts this year but I will make it in time for the unlimited hunts. If you want to put your name in the hat for the limted hunts you must do it as a non-resident and pay the non-resident fees.

Badger Mattchain,
If you end up moving there, shoot me a PM. I went to school at CSU in Ft Collins. There's some great hunting, fishing, and camping near Ft Collins.
