For what it will cost you to "join" a Club, you can go and buy a guided hunt somewhere on quality land.

I have done the Club thing, and never again. Too many guys with no brains and too much money. Too much booze going into bodies no brains.

For $3,000 you can go to a place like the Legends or Sanctuary in Michigan, be treated like a king, shoot a great deer, they cape it out, pay the taxes on the land, fix the fences, provide a first class guide, and provide great lodging and food. AND no dishes to wash to trash to haul.

Terry, I would rather pay the $3000 for a decent club, then I can hunt all season, maybe turkeys, and some varmits too. You can go ahead a spend your money on the guided hunt on the deer farm!

Clubs don't have to run that high. Around here the highest club dues I know of are $850.00 per year. This is 1200 managed acres with a 1 buck then six does program. During the off season you can spring turkey hunt and fish. They've got a nice clubhouse to use year around also. Our season is Sept through Jan. 1st for deer.
That 's still kinda rich for my blood, so I look for the usual $450.00 dollar club. Plenty of those and managed also. I might up and join one someday.
