I took part in a special management hunt in one of Virginia's State Parks yesterday. They wanted to thin the herd and asked the hunters to not be selective but to take whatever they see. Well, this is what I saw. Not the biggest buck in the woods but I'm glad to have him. He was in good shape and should be very tasty on the table.

Took him with an H/R Slug Gun and Winchester 1 oz saboted slugs. Bang. Flop. Just the way I like it. Tenderloins and eggs for breakfast! All is well in the world.
