It is raining here in South Texas again. Third time in (3) weeks, not a bad start to Spring. We, thankfully, have rain in the forecast everyday this week. mmmmm....I can almost hear the forbes growing.

Yes, that's nice! Hopefully we can get a few inches before summer sets in. It's been dry, dry!!

I know how you feel! It rained like MAD all afternoon here in Cairo yesterday. Neither the streets nor the people are really equipped to handle it so traffic was a complete disaster and the main square was under 2 inches of water. LOL!

You guys are lucky. In Northern California it has been raining like hell. I think we have had more then 150% of our rainfall last year through July already.

I am glad Texas is getting some moisture! I know how those drought conditions are.

Finally!! I can't believe it is even raining in Devine!! The best part is that we should get 2"-3" over the next two days.

Yeah, it's raining so much at my house in Corpus Christi that I almost was able to connect the dots on my deck. That's about a 1 inch rain, drops 1 inch apart!

Still no measureable rain at my house this year...and much of last year.

We get our worst hurricanes in drought years, historically anyways. It's gonna be interesting come July...

Quit yer Bitchin. The weatherman keeps promising us snow, 6 to 8 inches for last weekend. Luckily, most of it seems to fall north around Edmonton. I guess even God has a hate on For the City of Champions.

Thank God for the rain. We'll take all we can get. The stock tanks are dry and we could use a minor flood.

Saturday afternoon I could see that about 90% of my yard was grass. Sunday morning it was all white (again) about 5" deep.

We had a heck of a storm last Sunday night, and when I went to the ranch to check feeders and blinds, I poured out .3" As he old timers at the feed store said, "My daddy told me when Noah built the ark and it rained 40 days and 40 nights, I bet we only got two-tenths here." The feeders in the west pasture are about a mile from the ones in the east pasture. The west feeders had mud bogs under them and the east siders had dust bowls.

The rancher's house and cars didn't fare well--all the windows on the west side broken by hail, one back window in a car, and all 4 outside rear view mirrors broken.

All the blinds were fine, and no damage to the cabin--compared to 2 of 3 on the ground and a 150 gal propane tank on its side from the last blow in October.

Still not near enough north of Cuero. Seems like what little rain we get is always to the north or east of us.

No need to get out the boats around San Antnoio where the magicians at the weather stations projected six inches + and we got maybe .6". Now I know what she meant!

.9 inches here in San Antonio and about half that in Pearsall. This time of year it is enough to put some good growth on the native brush and get some forbes up for the deer.

Yep, they fooled us again with the forecast in Devine.I am beginnig to feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football just as Lucy jerks it away...........I keep wanting to believe them.

Some of the weathermen/women couldn't get yesterday's high temperature right in today's forecast.

Same here in So Oregon..

I am so sick of the rain this year I can't see straight....Felt like I have had a moat around my house almost the entire winter this year...I just hope the forest service guys are busy sitting in their offices masterbating over all the rain, so they won't be bouncing off the walls and freaking out.. crying Fire Season Fire Season.. like they are some sort of chicken little.....
