Anyone have experience on how well Bear Track rifle cases made by Freedom Arms hold up to airline travel?

I don't own one but prior to FA buying the company, it was located near where I live and I visited it a couple of times and spoke with the owner/maker of the cases.

To answer your question, if they are made the same as they were by the "inventer" they are the toughest case made, period.

The prior company owner had been a bush pilot in AK and knew what was required to make a tough case.

Without a doubt, they are the best made IMO.

BTW - this fall I stopped by FA and was looking around their showroom and altho I diodn't pick up and inspect a Bear Track case they seemed to be made the same as they were.

If that's the outfit that used to be out of Glenrock, WY, they make good stuff.
