JUST IN
Local man killed this deer near Kinston off the Neuse river.
He was working on his duck blind and saw antlers moving in the high grass/cat-tails and ran back to his truck and got his rifle and returned to shoot it.
no further info at this time.
[ buck killed december last year. possibly Kentucky. unknown details as per Frankies link to B&C...
December 1, 2006
This buck was reportedly taken this fall in the Pennyrile Forest State Park in Kentucky. No word on the lucky hunter yet. What an incedible typical frame on this monster deer!

SDhunterWhat a buck!
That is my dream buck. I don't think I could envision it any better.
Big typical frame with lots of character. Split tines, devils points coming off the bases. Not a freeak nontypical like some of them. That drop tine is awesome. The only thing I would change is to have darker chocolate antlers.
I would shoot that buck over a huge typical anyday. PERIOD!
Thanks for sharing.

matt salmI saw a bunch of photos last year with that exact same scale, against that exact same garage door....and I'm sure it wasn't noted as being from SC.

perryDo a search on it here. It was posted all over AR this time last year.
You may be guilty of getting excited over one of your "farm" raised deer...and to think you started the post.
Your gonna have to get Tas. to cut your head off with a sword as you plunge a knife into your own gut. Its really the only honorable thing to do.

SnellstromThe info I have on this deer is that it was taken by a hunter in the Pennyrile Forest State Park, KY, fall of 2006.
What a monster Buck!
Tis a shame that there is no nice field shots of this deer and the hunter.
