Hearing Protection While Hunting
I am looking to buy some electronic ear protection for hunting. I plan on spending somewhere around $75-$135. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should buy? Thanks.

I hear peltors tactial 6's when I do a lot of my hunting. They work great in a duck blind when every body is shooting 10 and 3.5 12s. You can still hear the wings with out getting your ears blown out.

Andrew,

I have a pair of Peltor Tactical 6's and they work great. I wore them for 5 days at Thunder Ranch and had no problem. I have looked at the molded electronic ear plugs, but at $400 and up they are pretty expensive. (But your hearing is priceless, so it may be better not to skimp when hearing protection is concerned).

Regards,

Terry

How much are these peltor tactical 6's worth ??

I use a normal pair of peltor muffs pushed up above my ears and IF I have time when a shot presents it'self I push them down. When chasing and shooting of the back of the ute I wear the muff's all the time.

Thanks for the advice. I will probably order the tactical 6s from CDNN.
