465H&HTasmanian Poachers arrested and Fined
Three hunters from the island of Tasmania, Australia were caught poaching elk and wolves in Idaho. Darren Tubb, Anton Kapeller and Samuel Henley were arrested on November 3 for killing a bull elk on October 28 before the hunting season opening date of November 1. They retrieved the antlers on November 2 and Henley shot two wolves on that day. He only had one tag and Tubb transferred his tag to Henley, an illegal transfer under Idaho law. They also left the meat to rot and were charged with wanton waste of game meat.
The trio was fined a total of $16,500 and Tubb and Kapeller lost their hunting privileges for life. Henley for four years. They can no longer hunt in any of the 40 states that are part of the Wildlife Violator compact. Their illegal activities have occurred over the past several years and they have been hunted by IDF&G officers for the past two years.

The way I understand it, they have been doing illegal hunting for several years here. Locals reported them initially and IDF&G have been after them for several years. They sent in a crew of eleven LEOs and watched them shoot the elk.
