Hey,
read the article about the sasquatch...but i think its a tail or?
Itsomethinh like the Yeti, that should live somewhere in the mountains of the Himalaya.
Does anyone know if its just a rumor or ...reality? [Smile]
I mean they found now signs of anything except the wounding from an arrow at the deer. But how get this deer in the tree?
Funny...better said curious .
Maybe a hunter shot the deer,.and the sasquatch found it , and stored it in the tree.
But why he didnt come back?

So..let me know what s going on there [Smile]

All the best and beware if u are out in the forest

Maybe a hunter shot the deer, then a sasquach driving a train hit it, and thats why he never reported it!!
The one in the tree is easy... the chinese must of hung it there for good luck.

I bet some of his hunting buddies put it there. [Big Grin]

I Shooter
My thought is that the guy that shot it put it up there for safe keeping and went to get some help getting it out, like a four wheeler. I know that their is no way in hell I am going to through a deer over my shoulder and walk out during hunting season. Then it snowed and he probabley couldn't find the place any more. The one that has me asking questions is the one on top of the telephone pole.

Have a safe and nice day.

In the interview excerpts the game official stated that there were claw marks in the bark of the tree. Wouldn't it be possible that if someone with a climbing stand didn't place the deer, then a mountain lion (which supposedly do not exist in PA despite a friends father finding one dead along a highway here a few years back)placed it there and got scared off before returning to dine?

Is it possible that the claw marks were from a self climbing tree stand?
I don't see the point of dragging it up a tree to avoid carrying it home by yourself.
It seems to me that it was poached and hidden but never recovered.

There is nothing "hidden" about that deer. Its not very high up and not very covered... also it is in the "crack of the obvious" in that tree. Since it was shot by a person, and that was the likely cause of death, perhaps he was alone and for some unknown reason couldnt haul it back. He stuffed it in a tree so animals couldnt get to it? Though some could and some did.

Have never heard of something like that

I can't see putting that deer in a tree easier than draggin it out. 70lbs is alot easier to drag out than however he got it into that tree. It's pointed out that it's poached. Bad hiding spot but were probably dealing with a idiot on this one.

His one last act of defiance against the man that delivered the fatal shot was to muster up all the strength he ever had and jump into the forks of that maple tree. [Razz]

Seriously though I hope he was put there by a hunter to keep the animals away while he went to get some form of help and had every entintion of coming back to retreive it and not someones idea of a joke.

Without a doubt it must be an alien that dropped the deer on the powerpole. It's well known that aliens are drawing power from powerlines all over the world. Hoofs are a special treat for aliens, sort of an apetizer. They were proably getting a little power boost, and decided to have a snack while waiting to get fully charged. They zapped off the hoof's with thier lazer, after lifting the deer into the craft with thier light beam, did a quick anal probe, and dropped it out of the saucer. It was a fluke that it landed on the power pole!

Oh yeah, we see it all the time around here. [Big Grin] [Wink]

It is a known fact that bobcats practise this sort of storage to keep it away from other animals. I personally found one the other day inside a culvert and caught a bobcat off it. If you want to say a 30 lb bobcat cant kill a 70 lb deer then tell me why a 100 lb mountain lion can kill a 400 lb elk? These animals have incredible strength.--JM.

Cat's can kill 4x their size but a bob cat dragging a 70lbs deer up a tree is out of the question. So is a lion dragging a 400 lbs elk up a tree. A lion could drag that deer up a tree though and for that matter so could a black bear.
Around here lynx and bob cat kill young fawns but that is as far as it goes.
