We just leased a 2,000 acre property in Mason County and I figured you guys might enjoy a few photos. It is a very nice place, with about 500 acres being somewhat open country….and the remainder being somewhat thick to very thick. We also have approximately 1.8 miles of spring-fed creek, with a dam creating a 2 acre pond. There is a great game population, and I’m looking forward to hunting in Mason again.

We have hunted in Mason County off and on over the last 10 years. It’s not likely we’ll see any monsters out here, but there is just something about hunting whitetails in the Hill Country. Maybe because I’ve grown up doing it….but I just love it.

I hope you all enjoy the photos.

I haven't hunted around Mason for at least 10 years but those pics make me wish I was hunting there this year. Hard to justify a season lease when your really only going to get to make a week long trip in the fall and a turkey trip in the spring. Thanks for the pics.

Good looking place. Mason County is a great place to hunt. A man can get him some good BBQ in that area too.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.
