need new hunting pack
I have a Crooked Horn Outfitters Master Guide pack and I really like it (except the zippers are quite hard to open and close and the water bottle pouches are too short) but I am thinking I need a bigger pack to help pack out meat. I have a large internal frame pack made by Gregory that has worked well for packing out elk legs but I would like one pack that would do it all. I am planning a fly in wilderness hunt and need to consolidate my equipment so need one pack that will do all instead of one pack for hunting and another pack for packing out meat. I am looking at 3 different packs and am hoping for input from you all who have used these packs. The 3 I am looking at are the Bagmaker Extreme http://www.bagmaker.com/outdoors/Pop_Pages/pop_QP368.htm or the Cabela's Dwight Schuh pack http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/horizontal-item.jhtml?id=0015825515445a&navAction=jump&navCount=0&indexId=&podId=0015825&catalogCode=XC&parentId=&parentType=&ri d= or the Kifaru Longhunter pack http://www.kifaru.net/BACKPAKS.HTM but so far I do not know which one to pick. Have any of you guys used these? Thanks, Rufous.

I have not used any of those packs, but they all seem good. I have seen the Kifaru packs used and have only heard good things about them.
Another option you may want to explore is the Badlands packs http://www.above-timberline.com/bad_lands_packs.htm

I have a Badlands daypack and I like it more than the Crooked Horn Non-Typical my hunting partners use. For extended trips I just use a Lowe Alpine internal frame.
