lighter 308 loads
Can anyone tell me if a 130g bullet in a 308 cal BAR will be stable enough for longer range
hunting for antelope? Probably a ballistic tip bullet as soft point bullets tend to deform in the
magazine and feed ramp. Also haveIMR 4895.Normally I would shoot 150g silvertips, but I
am trying to flatten out the tragectory. Thanks Murray

I've got two .308's. Going to a 125-130 gr. bullet isn't going to flatten trajectory more than 1-2 inches at 300 yds.
I'd recommend the 150 BT and Re-15 powder for Pronghorn. It will resist wind better than the 125 gr. bullet. E

I agree- the 150BT is as flat as you need to get with the .308.
I shoot it out of my 30.06- but you should be right there with me with your .308.
