I have been looking for a wool daypack. Do you have a website for Bergen or any others. Thank you in advance.

Swazi buffalo pack. out of new zealand. mail order. I bought one for my son and he loves it. soft light dark green fleece. go to www.swazi.co.nz you will have to email them from there to get a catalog.

They are 80 bucks US. but the problem is their catalog has some really neat other solid color fleece not all camo, and I bet you buy something else too, like the severn windstopper top or anorak. I bought both for an upcoming Tahr hunt.

good luck.

I believe I saw them in Valhalla Sports in Smithers B.C.I was very much taken by the wool day-pack and regret not buying it.They carry alarge selection of Bergen packs. After reading this thread I did a Google search on Bergen and came up with zip. Valhalla did tell me that they had full access to the Bergen line. Hope this helps.

Allan

If camo is not a problem, try King Of The Mountain Sports in Colorado. Have been using their day pack since '95. Awesome!!!Pricey, but well worth the investment. Well made, well designed. Heavy wool, heavy nylon zippers. FWIW, the metal zipper pulls would klink together, so I cut them off and used heavey leather laces to make the pulls. Works very well...silent.
