Kamo GariThat is one wonderfully racked, heavy bodied beauty. Nice job!

calgarychef1Very nice deer. What part of Sask. were you in? I usually hunt around Assiniobia area. I think the bucks there are a little smaller because of the openess and the locals willingness to shoot anything just to say they "got their buck"
Congratulations

Fish30114trapntrav, he's way too tall and massive to make a reasonable drag out. Never shoot one like that if you're alone!

Maybe I should escort you next time.....
Seriously, that is sweeeeet! He will be so impressive in that shoulder mount!
Sincere Congratulations--Don

trapntravNot much of a story, actually I did pass him up the first day of hunting (hunted from the 7-12th about an hour southeast of Tisdale), I didn't realize he was that big ( I was looking for a 160" deer or bigger. He had a huge body and I think that fooled me. On the 11th I was in my stand and decided to rattle a bit (around lunch time) and this guy and a smaller one came running, he dwarfed the smaller one and I realized his rack was closer to what I was looking for than I first thought. One shot with my 300win mag and I was done deer hunting for another year

Not sure of his weight/age? I don't have a good side view pic with me but here's another one with my buck and my dads (young deer with an awesome 6" drop point)
