larryshoresTX mule deer
One of my friends is married to a woman who is the heir to a LOT of property. I got invited to go with them on their 98,500 acre ranch. I took this mulie while there. It is the biggest I have ever taken. Of course , this is only my second mulie.

brent ebelingNice deep forks in rear. Good looking buck. By looks of surrounding terrain, could it have been a 300 plus yard shot? What part of tx?
10 December 2014, 06:12
larryshoresIt was in extreme north TX near Stinnett.
The shot was not that long. As I recall about 200 yards. DRT.

bwanamrmSolid muley buck!
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

With that much land, even unmarried grandmothers should be considered!

larryshoresThanks all. He was the biggest we saw.
I also shot a cull whitetail. The interesting thing is that I was wearing waders when I shot it. We had been duck hunting. It scored about 130 or so. It would be a giant in FL.
