I'm stil trying to get my wife interested in hunting. Her mother hunted with her father and two of her sisters hunt but she just doesn't have any interest.

She LOVES venison so I stay busy...

Good article. But I disagree with her quote.

Only a cruel, heartless, sick man doesn't feel a connection to the dying prey.

I hold or touch every animal I kill, and offer a small prayer of thanks.

To me, it's a moment of reverence and quiet gratitude, not a moment to whoop and holler, like they do on hunting shows.

Anyway, My $.02.
