I noticed you use barnes-x in almost all your videoed hunts. My question is have you ever had any failures we hear about. Have you ever had any fail to open up? Thanks!

I have had some on which the petals have turned INWARDS, and in effect became like a solid.

But, I would not classify that as a failure, as the animals shot still died.

To me, the overwhelming criteria is penetration, and the Barnes X will do that.

I myself have never had them fail but I have an ongoing debate with a relative of mine. He hates them because he has had alot of failures with them. Have you ever used the new sst's or speers deep shock bullets?
