Their website has more details, but here is a photo:
I like the look of them. I might have to try them out soon!

sheephunterFrom the looks of the cross section,it might be the ideal high power bullet.
The lead in the rear shortens the bullet over the convential all-copper, thereby solving a few problems.
I have to try them

Christian NI have read on a Swedish forum I belong to that the core is tungsten instead of lead.
Gives higher bullet wieghts without adding to the bullet OAL.
I think this is a bullet of the future.
/Best regards Chris

BigNateI like the looks of this one!
Kindof been wondering why Nosler hasn't put a plastic tip in the failsafe or partition. Nate

JarrodI know there's a million different bullets out there already, but I think I will have to try some of these though.

CDHFinally a Barnes bullet I might try...
I'm betting it's really high dollar though. It looks like a next generation Win Fail Safe.

Hugh WYeah,
Barnes is taking a lesson from the duck hunters with their tungsten and / or heavyshot loads.
And yes you can bet they will be expensive if the insert is tungsten.

smallfryI dont like the concept of them. I want nothing to do with tungsten in my bullets. I do like the triple shocks though and see great merit in keeping them mono.
I am back from a long Hiatus... or whatever.
Take care.

Says they are avaliable in 20 packs. Probably have to be because with the rear part being tungsten few will be able to afford 50 at a time.

They are going to offer them in 20 round packs so they will be pricey but worth it if you have the need. It does give a hunter some good options.

WoodjackCant see a problem with it.
I like the idea of increasing a bullets weight without having to make the pill larger.
eg; if you can get a nice slender 200gn super premium .30cal, you will have toughness, ballistic efficiency, more tha acceptable SD,and increased weight, without having to go to a 220gn or heavier, which loose out for the longer ranging shots.
The price of premium bullets are of no consequence at the price of todays guided hunt costs. that is the last place you would want to try and start saving money.
If it was the case,Would $5 per custom projectile for a sheep hunt or $30 per proj.for Elephant be too much to pay when you can afford a lesiurely $30,000-100,000? I would have no objection paying it, if the bullet gave me some advantage.
