Book on hunting in Texas
I don't know if this is allowed or not so please forgive me.

In addition to being a frequent contributor to Accurate Reloading I’m also a writer. I work predominantly for Outdoor Life, Sporting Classics, Under Wild Skies, and Sports Afield. My first book, Texas Safari: The Game Hunter’s Guide to Texas hits shelves today (or next week depending on where you shop). I’ve gotten some great reviews from Craig Boddington, Doug Howlett, and Mike Schoby. You can read them at my website www.gaynecyoung.com

I estimate I consumed roughly $12,043.52 of alcohol writing this book, it’s be nice if I could at least sell enough to pay off my tab.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Gayne

Welcome to the AR Forums.

Your book looks interesting and I hope it sells well.

Please brace yourself for the reception you may receive on here.

There are folks on here, including Texans, that believe Texas Hunting, is an oxymoron.

Many folks around the U.S. and probably the world, feel that all we do in Texas is target shoot at the animals we kill.

Your book looks interesting and I will check it out the first chance I get.

As John Wayne said in the movie "McLintock", "Camille, your on your own".

There are a lot of really knowledgable folks on here, so if things go the way I think they will, just be prepared.

Good Luck with your book.

Even the rocks don't last forever.
