PepperGoat student turns teacher in WYO
Kris hunted with me in Utah this year and was soaking up all the goat lore I could spill on him (which is not too much). He passed the canopener buck saying that is was just ugly! Yea 83 4/8 ugly, which I didn't argue with, allowing my to crack that buck instead. He just returned from Wyo and I'm including his story and pics. Looks like grasshopper learned well!
We saw very few antelope Friday Got a flat tire went into town was told to concentrate further into the area. We went back out that evening saw several but they all were very flighty. Decided in the morning to work further into the unit and north. Avoid people. What you see is the results.
2 shots @ 200 yrds a Book caliber Antelope. Gross score @ 83 5/8" 16" length 6 3/8" Bases 7" Blades.
Great Buck for the second weekend in Wyo.
