Tannery?
Does anyone know of a good tannery? Hopefully, one that is convenient to use and reasonably priced.

It would be a real plus if they did buckskin and hair on as well, but buckskin is the most important...

Thanks

Juneau said it right. New Method Tannery is tops in this field. Most of my mounts were tanned by New Method, could not be happier.

I don't think New Method falls into the "reasonably priced" slot though! I had several African hides done by NM in 1999 and the bill nearly gagged me. I did call and after 5 minutes of polite conversation it was lowered about 25%. Maybe it was the fact that the hides were African but I thought they were expensive.

"D", I can't quote you a price. My mounts are done by Chase's Wildlife, UT 435-563-3072. Chase has used NM exclusively for years. Taxidermists get a break in price of course. There was another tannery here in CA that was questionable(I won't list online), alot of taxidermists were unhappy. sure-shot

Your best bet on a tannery is Advantage Tannery in Houston, Texas. My taxidermist B&B Taxidermy, Conroe Taxidermy plus many others use them. They have done all of my African trophies and I'm very pleased.
