Looks like he'll go in the 140's. Id guess 19-20 inches on the spread with 10-11 inch G2's. His brow tines arent really great, a few more inches on them I think would push this buck close to the 150 mark. Never the less he's a great buck and will be even better next year.

ditto, what Fordfreak said.

eric's buck appears to be quite a bit bigger than this 8-pointer

but I'm not an expert either

Here is the one I took this season. I rough scored it myself and it came in at the low 130's.

I lean toward 140-plus too. If I knew the rough body weight I'd be more confident. Just not familiar with Northern bucks and a small body sure can make regular horns look a lot bigger.

Thank you for all your educated guesses. I'll let you know exactly what it scores next year when I get him (I hope!).

I'll be out looking for sheds on the first good thaw after early February (could be a long wait!). In the meantime, I can only look forward to next archery season (and the gun season after) to try again. Good luck to you all next season!
