The resurfacing of the "monster moose" thread, and some comments from some of the posters therein, provokes me to ask some of you Ontarians about the moose situation. I'm going moosing in the penninsula in the middle of Lake of the Woods this fall. Muzzleloading actually. Any comments about moose numbers in that area? I was there two years ago, and while I had no luck, I did enjoy it, and look forward to the return.
