The new Oregon 300 is a touch screen model, seems to have all the bells and whistles.

Any comments on the touch screen? I like the Idea of a larger screen.

I have one by Garmin, worth the money. The big screen is nice. They will take you where you want to go but it may not be the route you want to take.

you will want to get a cover sheet for it after using awhile there will be finger prints all over the screen .got my cover at radio shack 5.99 for three thats the way it comes you wont be sorry bill

It will be used mostly to get me home when hunting in unfamiliar country. If I get the Garmin Oregon, it will also see duty on the bass boat.
