ga sixgunnerQuestions about thermal underwear
Yea I know its 100 degrees outside but I am starting to get my gear ready for my upcoming Elk/deer hunt in northwest Montana. What do you guys recommend for a good wicking set of thermal underwear. I don't want to spend a fortune as this will probably be the only time I will ever need it, as I live in south Ga. and the cold is not really a problem. Thanks for any help.

Allan DeGrootI spend a lot of time outdoors in the winter and I personally prefer the G.I. polypropylene Long bottoms.

Rob1SGI used Cabelas silk weight Bowhunter series as a base last year in Colo. toped with a Expedition weight layer of polyprop. I was sung as a bug. Take a thick neck gaiter as most of the heat loss is through the head and neck.

Paladin45I use merino wool, the smart wool brand is pretty good.
