<heider>N560 and 75Gr V-max in .243 winchester?
Anybody ever try this combo, I can't find any data for a light bullet with this powder.

1894I would be prepared for a large daytime muzzle flash. When I tried N56O in my 24" 6.5x55 it took bullet weights of 129gr before this stopped. 100gr and 120gr were bright, loud and not pursued. N560 seems a lot more prone to muzzle flash than N160.

<gone hunting>N560 is to slow for 75gr bullets
N550 is much better
neather one comes close to Varget for less then 80gr bullets
Varget=less than 80gr
4350 for 80 to 95 grain
4831 for over 95grs
i've been keeping records on 243 loads for 23yrs and these 3 powders work the best

BradI've never used N560.
For me, H4350 gives better velocity with identical accuracy over Varget with 70 & 75 gr. bullets. In my 22" bbl'd stainless Win 70, I'm getting over 3,500 fps with the 75 gr. V-Max.

that's a fast barrel you've got there!
3300fps is closer to what i've seen over the years with max charges of H4350 from a 22" barrel and 75gr bullets.
