Spot and stalk Black Bear.
I have no official measurements. I took him with a 280 rem and a 140 TSX at around 50 yds. He was angling towards me and I hit him on the point of the shoulder and the bullet was recovered just above the offside hip.

Very cool. I like the chocolate bears.

TSX did the work, eh?

Congrats!

It is a Penrod built Model 70 I finally talked a friend out of that I had rebarreled by Jan Kolenbrander. Yes it is a lefty. :-)

Nice bear Chuck……….. 6'4" nose to tail I assume, not square. Let us know what the skull measures for interests sake. That is a nice colour, one of my favourites.
