Crispi Boots
I thought that this forum might be the best place to post this questions.

I am looking for some "everyday", all around boots. I am a big Meindl fan and am
about due for a new pair of light walking boots. I already have good hunting boots but just
want a comfortable pair of lightweight boots.

I am really looking at the Crispi's as I have heard so many positive reviews. Here
is what I am looking at:
https://www.crispius.com/monaco

Do any of you have experience with Crispi? How do their sizes run? I have somewhat narrow
to medium feet. I checked a local dealer and they do not carry this particular model and
therefore, I might take a risk and order these online.

As much good as I have heard about Crispi, my thought is that I may buy their hunting boots in the
future. I thought that this model may be a good test...

Thanks!

Crispi's are outstanding.
For an everyday bang for the buck you might try Salomon Quest 4D3 GTX. I think I paid about $150.00 bucks for a pair recently.
A lot of ankle support. Lots of great reviews.
Crispi quality? NO! but very good.

Thank you. I just ordered the Monaco and will give them a try. If they are as good as so many people say, I will look at getting some of the insulated ones.

I have also been a big Meindl fan. I'm using Crispi's now. I use the Navada's that are insulated. They also make them un-insulated. They are fantastic boots and size seems to run pretty true. Black Ovis often has them on sale and I've actually picked them up on eBay at a really good price. I think you will love them. Good luck

I am really liking these boots. My son bought a pair of heavier crispi boots on camofire.

I actually like my crispis a bit better than meindl.

I tired Crispi but they were to narrow for me.

I have two, soon to be three pair of Kennetreks. The reason I wear Kennetreks, I have a right foot that is partially paralyzed and rolling it is a concern. I found the Kennetrek helps a lot with that and found to be true. I have always heard Crispi, Mendl were both good boots.

Are any of these stitched sole boots?

Seems like light weight and stitched soles is mutually exclusive traits.

I have Crispi for my every day/light hikers and Kenetreks for my heavy haul hunting boots. If I had to wear either for the rest of my life you'd never hear me complain.

Alright... jumped out and bought a pair of Monacos to try them out. Africa and all-around use in S. Texas. We shall see.

I like my Whites hiking boots. Many years later they are as good as ever.
