Over the last 18 years or so I've acquired about 50 different rifles from 17 ackley hornet up to 45-70. I trade guns continuously. I would hate to give up my cooper in 22 hornet and my winchester super grade in 300 wsm, but I could do it. There are only two that I would trade one of my kids(especially my daughter)for rather than these guns. One is a heavy barrelled Sako in 7 mag. The other is a browning highwall in 30-06. Talk about prying your cold dead fingers off the triggers.

Lately I've had the urge to buy a .300 Ultra Mag. Then I look at my 7mm Rem Mag and say to myself, "Why do I need more than this?"

I have both. That RUM sure is fun to shoot. Something about sending a 200 grain Accubond out there. They are the only 2 "magnums" I'll likely ever have.

The 7m/m is a fine round and will handle every thing on your "list" but I`d rather tote an 06
around.
Plus it (06) has a bigger spread of commercial
ammo. JMO. patriot
