fredj338I would put my money on one of the 165gr HE loads from Federal or Hornady, which ever load shoots best in your rifle.

Chuck NelsonI'll be sheep hunting next fall (if I don't paste one next week) with an 06. My bullet of choice (barring poor accuracy) will be the 168 TSX. In fact, if it shoots like I expect it to, I'd hunt everything, under any condition, with that bullet.

Cold Zerofor sheep the 165 is fine, but for goat too. i would use 180.
i like feeral h.e. 180 n.p., kills critters dead. goats can take a pounding that would put sheep right down.
