anyone shot 160 g. 7 mm swift aframes ??

I �d like to know about their performance, especifically aniumal reactions when shot. Quick death or just exit wounds and tracking?

Please specify velocities if possible.

Alg, I shot a moose in Alaska this year with a 160 gr A frame from my 7 RUM, at 3170 fps; shot him once at 65 yards, broadside heart-lung, he dropped within 10 seconds and 10 feet of where he was hit; recovered bullet under off-site hide; I didn't weigh the bullet, but I'd say that about 1/2 remains.

Pretty good work in my opinion,

thanks craig. what was expansion like??

Alg, expansion was roughly 2x original diameter; also, guide was surprised at penetration, as he said that normally only the 300 mags or 338's penetrate to the off-side hide or go all the way through; I don't know if this is true, but the guide has guided or taken something like 65 moose FWIW
