How many 18 year olds would have been prepared for a situation like this and also, how many would have prevailed? Probably less than 1%.
They did an incredible job avoiding disaster.

p dog shooterSounds to me like they are competent shooters. That they must of trained and practiced with their handguns.
Their ages are more likely to be around 20 then 18.

They are men not kids. No reason that they cannot be accomplished hunters and pistol shots.
I know that as we age Kid is relative. But the truth is many 18 to 20 year old's join the military, get married and carry on manly duties.
