Some very interesting shots; neat album.

As to the 3rd from left on top: the more things change, the more things stay the same. Still plenty o' savages running around the South Bronx. [Smile]

Nickudu,

By God, that's Lloyd Bridges playing Mike Whatshisname from "Sea Hunt." I loved that show!

I can still hear the theme song: Dah, dah, dahdahdah . . . Dah, dah, dahdahdah . . . !

Someone please tell me that character's last name.

BTW, great pics all around (I can't seem to get them to zoom up though).

Awesome Nick. Love that historic logging pic with the two faller's on spring boards. Now added to my collection, with many, many thanks. [Smile]

MrLexma - Unless you have quite the tuner, you'll not be watching "Sea Hunt", next Saturday night, as the info I furnished refers only to when it was on, when it was on! [Big Grin] Sorry about that!

Can anyone see Mark Whites above photos? They are not loading for me.

Nick, you are a cruel man! I have to stop taking everything so literally.

Talk about nostalgia. I thought that maybe one of the cable stations had brought this once excellent show back. (At least, I remember it being excellent--I hope it has aged better than I have.)

Maybe it's available on videotape?

I think it was on for a brief time but I can't remember if it was cable or not. I caught two episodes and remembered both.

Come on over to my Movie Trivia thread, you old fart, you! [Wink] [Big Grin]

Nick,

I was just funnin' you. The pics posted for yesterday but not now for me either, oh well.

The first pic where I did the comment about Ray was the one of the prarie family, and the one with the personals comment was of Lloyd Bridges (and yes, I recognized him even when he didn't have the eyebrows of his later years!)

RIP
Because of Lloyd Bridges and Sea Hunt, I terrorized my parents by swimming all over the place underwater before I could swim on top of the water. In the surf in Puerto Rico (San Juan, Ramey USAF Base back then), in swimming pools and lakes elsewhere, I was a scuba diver wannabe as soon as they let go of the seat of my training pants. I wasn't able to stay on top in a dog paddle until I was 9 years old, for some reason, and I blame "Sea Hunt" for that. My parents breathed easier when they could see my head above water. Thanks Lloyd!

And thank you, Nickudu, from the nursery scuba class of '54.

I did pretty much the same thing and got my certification and all. Then Frank Mundus started catching the big whites off Long Island and I balked. Lost total interest when "Jaws" came out. I'll face any buffalo without breaking a sweat but big sharks (and big spiders) scare the bejeezas out of me.
