I heard about a bear that was hibernating in a eagles nest I went out this morning with the wife and looked at it sure enough about 50 feet off the ground in the nest was bear. He has been there at least 3 weeks most likely all winter. I seen and heard of bears hibernating in some werid places but in a eagles nest.

Bears in South Louisiana regularly hibernate in the hollow tops of old cypress trees, this is to escape the winter floods.
