Bobby TomekAwesome! You are going to have a blast with that place. Can't wait to see some hog kill photos..so you'd better get busy! That aoudad ram is nice, too, though the younger ones may be a bit more tender.

GeedubyaJim,
belated congrats on your purchase. You and your family are going to have a ball. I hunted a ranch that was on the east side of SH 55, about 13 miles south of Rock Springs. An amazing menagerie. One of our original group shot an Aoudad there that measured close to 36". Don't be surprised if you have Sika and Fallow there. We even heard elk bugle down in the canyons. You may also have porcupine and ring tailed cats, even javelina. We even had one of our guys stalked by a panther (the area he was in was called panther canyon IIRC). You will probably see fox and coyotes on the game cams. Fox will come and eat the corn. Traps and snares will help with the hogs
I've kept as many as 4 game cameras out at one time. Many times it seems that one of the high points of each trip is viewing the pix from the game cams.
Here's to looking forward to your pix and posts this fall.
Best,
GWB

JTEXThanks for all the kind words we, the wife and I, are very excited.
Yes sure enough we have seen Sika and Fallow does....no bucks yet.
Yes the Jackalope population seems very unbalanced......all we have seen so far is does....we may need a 10 point limit on Jackalope bucks for a while and start taking some does to bring a bit of balance.
I also have hunted North about 8 miles, South 6 miles and East 10 miles from this place. THe place to the South had several nice Elk taken off of it and the place to the North has a small group of Elk. On the place to the North I have also seen Ibex. All low fence free range....
That's why I have been looking in this part of the state, all the exotics and piggies.
