88 MAGA Republicans Including Trump Endorsed by Trophy Hunting Group

A group, Safari Club International (SCI), which represents trophy hunters has not only endorsed Trump, but is backing 87 other MAGA Republican candidates including Ted Cruz and Rick Scott.

Trump visited the group in June and described them as a group that enjoys "incredible entertainment" with "guns and rifles."


JD Vance also recently wore an SCI hat and went on a fishing trip organized by the group. The group maintains a hunting record book which is a high score dashboard for trophy hunters.


SCI members upload their kills to the record book to be graded at gold, silver, or bronze. The kills in the book also contain endangered animals such as the pygmy hippo.


Pygmy hippos have gained more notoriety recently due to Moo Deng, a baby pgymy hippo known for her playfulness and antics such as biting her zookeepers. The group has recorded two kills of the endangered pygmy hippo in their record book.



The group pushes for laws to make it easier to conduct trophy hunting and to import their trophies, the bodies of dead animals, into the United States for display. The group has endorsed Trump and given JD Vance their seal of approval.

SCI has it's faults, but it has done more for the benefit of game animals and wildlife around the world than any of the so called animal rights groups.
