RUGER 99/44 SEMI-AUTO
read this little rifle is pretty good,reliable,accurate..anyone got any new experience with this rifle?i think i'd like it on deer out to 150yds.with handloads, anyone got experience with the 44mag on deer?its light-weight,short/compact,semi-auto and would be good stand hunting(though we've only 2 weeks of deer hunting left here).thinking about getting one in the next few days to hunt the rest of the season..all thoughts appreciated...

I hunt with 2 guys with them, excellent rifles, typical Ruger auto reliabilaty. Plenty accurate for deer, if you like the gun go for it.

I have not tried this load yet, but will soon. RIFLE mag recently published it as a "favorite."

Fed case, CCI 350, 23 GR. W-296, 250 NOSLER, 1,761 fps

I plan on trying it soon myself.
