100gr Speer Hot-Core?
I worked up a load for my .257 Roberts with some 100gr Speer Hot-cors that I had lying around. The load shoots great! I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with this bullet? I've never shot game with a hot-cor in any caliber, so any thoughts would be great.

Thanks- Gib

I've had very good success with Speer Hot Cores. As long as you don't push the velocity too high. I think they compare favorably with the Hornady Interlock, and that's saying something.

I have had nothing but good things to say about Speer Hot Cor bullets. I have used mostly the 150, 180 and 200 grain bullets in 30 caliber.

My Bob likes those bullets too, but it likes 115 grn BT's just a bit better, so thats what stopped my buck this year. Hot cores are excellent deer bullets.
