ReloaderCheap Trail Cam Pics.....
I placed my two cheap digital Wildview Game Cameras out and they took pretty good pics for a $49 camera. This one took 102 pics from last Saturday to this past Sunday morning. I switched out the SD card and will probably leave it for 2 weeks. Here are some example photos:
I have another of these that I left out for 3 weeks in which it took 600 pictures. It had some small bucks and mostly birds and squirrels. Overall, I think they aren't too bad for a cheap unit that you don't have to worry so much about getting stolen.

ReloaderNotice the fawn has been injured on her left shoulder. I'll take pictures there for a couple more weeks, it should be interesting to see how the little one heals.
And hopefully ole' Mossy will stroll past for a good mug shot.
We got some nice pictures of a descent 8 and about a 14" wide 6 in another location.
Ya'll have a good one,

PhilReloader,
Nice shots from the trail cams!!
Is it a little late for the fawns to still have their spots?? Not sure what is typical for North Louisiana.

The SlugPretty good pics, Reloader. What camera is that? I've been thinking of getting one but don't want to shell out big bucks.

ReloaderSlug,
These pics were from my cheap Wildview Digitals. They have them at Wal-Mart for $49.99. You can buy a SD card off of ebay for about 5-10 bucks and they use 4c size batteries. You have to get the good batteries like Duracell for them to last a while(about 3 weeks if set at 1 pic/min) or the rechargeable type. I put the 128MB SD cards in these and they'll hold over 600 pics.
This camera has a 1 year warranty. I'm not saying it's a great camera but it does the job and if it breaks after a year, I'll just buy another.
You don't have to worry about them being stolen as much as you would a Cuddeback. I'd be worried where I hunt if I had a $400+ camera in the woods.
The only down falls to this cam is that it triggers slow(about 2 seconds on one of mine and 3-4 on the other) and it doesn't stamp a date or time. You just have to place them at a feeder, a scrape, or a food plot, some where where they don't just walk by without stopping. I had this camera out for 1 week and of the 102 pictures nearly all were of deer.
Good Luck

Phil,
This is probably a late born but, it is common to see fawns with spots here in September. They are usually loosing them at the end of September. I rarely see spoted fawns in October.
