It is a unit managed for trophy animals and requires "preference points" to draw a tag. I apologize didn't mean to leave out you rifle hunters. Hunts available for the first Elk only rifle season October 14-18 in Game management untis 48 & 49 both camps are remote wilderness camps. If you are a "Do it Youself" hunter we can pack you into our drop camp in the heart of elk country.
