I have a co-worker who is interested in a bison hunt. He is not really a hunter but is a former competitive rifle shooter and still shoots and collects historical weapons. What he would like is a reasonably priced hunt for a non-trophy bison that he can take with a 45-90 or something of that nature. He is interested in the experience more than anything (and the meat of course) and doesn't want to drive up in a truck and shoot out the window. He would like to spend some time out of the truck stalking. If anyone has personal experience with these hunts or outfitter recommendations then please PM me.
