I'd like to take my wife along on a top-notch guided hunt, preferably for mule deer, and within a day's drive of Dallas. Since hunting is only of secondary interest to her, a place with particularly nice accomodations would help sell this idea. Any suggestions out there?

Does it require a big shopping mall and candle-light dinner also? How far can you drive in one day. Texas is a big place!
