I had planned (and still am planning) to hunt elk in Montana this fall. However, the wife is giving me a lot of grief about going by myself. So I am kind of looking for a party or a person who might want to have someone else to share expenses with on a public land nonguided hunt.

blue - do you have an area in mind? i live in montana, might be able to hook you up with one or two of my boyz in an area near where you plan to be. i live in sand coulee, near the highwood, little belt and belt mountains. i also have very good connections in the little snowys, the big snowys and the judith mountains as well as the north and south moccasin mountains. basically, if you are planning to come to central montana, i gotcha covered.

i probably won't be elk hunting myself this year, but i would be glad to help you get set up if you are headed to this area, and maybe even ride along. only expenses would probably be in sharing gas and food.
