If anyone hunts or shoots one of these, I would be very interested to hear about it. I have posted lots of questions in the reloading forum.

Now and again I get to use my Manlicher Schoenauer build arround in 1934 in the 7*64mm caliber. Has a 4 power Zeiss (Zielvier) ona Claw mount.
Let me tell you this is quality from the days gone by. It is either machined steel or solid quality wood and the Optics are still as good as when new.

I had one in the carbine of course. I got it used and had headspace problems. Even when I made a false shoulder for the reloads I still got head separations.

The best part of that rifle was sitting in the forest and placing it across your knees and just admiring the art of it. My mind would drift to "The Wilderness of Denali" by Charles Sheldon.

However the pistol grip is too far from the triggers and the bolt handle is too far forward. Suprisingly it grouped well.
