You must really hate Failsafes and Barnes X's. But I do agree with you somewhat. Keep in mind though, the final mushroom diameter doesn't always describe the wound channel accurately. For example, Nosler Partitions often have a very small diameter final mushroom--even when they create a very large wound channel early in the penetration as the front part is "blowing off."
Keep us updated, Grizz. Finally they have the same weight available so they can be compared! Should be interesting...try a "high velocity" and a "low velocity" test with each if you can. Whatever the results, they won't make me switch though....
