Great Mule Deer Opportunity -discounted hunt 10/20-28
Wes Atkinson called me today and just had two mule deer hunters cancel on him at the last minute. I hunted mule deer with Wes last year and took a great deep forked 5x4. Days before me Larry took a 28" wide 4x4 and Bracken took a 180+ non typical.

He's in Wellington, northern Colorado, easy drive north from the Denver airport or south of Cheyenne, Wy.

Call Wes Atkinson

The dates are 10/20-28th I believe for a five day hunt, Wes is asking only $3500. This is a super deal given the kind of deer they take every year. I would hop on a plane but I am set to hunt mule deer in Nevada November 1st.

What all does the $3,500 include? Food? Lodging? Guiding?

The price includes guiding only. I stay at the comfort Inn right in Wellington which was like 58 bucks a night, had some nice meals with them in town and don't remember being allowed to pay for anything. I think the opportunity is over since the tags went through tomorrow. Here are links to two deer they took this week:

Deep Front

Heavy Horned 4x4

I'm off to hunt Mule Deer in Nevada next week or I would have hopped on a plane and taken advantage of the deal myself. I took a nice antelope with them this year but I think I'll be back for mule deer next year.

That is the soon-to-be 66 years old in 4 days elder statesman. Roll Eyes

Those back tines on mine are 17" and the spread is 23". Note the browtines growing from the FRONT of the bases at about a 45 deg. angle. -TONY

Great Hunt. Congratulations. I would have jumped all over this deal if I wasn't going to MT. I just live down the road in Loveland
