pagosawingnutView from my office door on Friday
The pictures didn't turn out very well but here is a view of part of my property in CO. I'm 100 yards out of the city limits and this is where I have my office as well. There were 42 elk here, sorry about the poor pic but it is way cool every time I get to see them. Too bad it isn't hunting season

graybirdVery cool picture! It is hard to tell, but looks like there are a few more critters on top of the rocks in the upper left corner.
I was down in your neck of the woods two weeks ago and we saw several herds of elk and deer while passing thru.
Now, if you could just find a way to remove the tanks!!!
Thanks for posting!

pagosawingnutThe only way to move the tanks is to sell the business and I, right now at least, am just poor white trash and can't afford it. Yes there were more in the top left. Hell we had 42 or 43. First time I've seen them this year.

Colorado BobGot any turkeys over there?
01 February 2012, 07:16
pagosawingnutYes, sir, a few. Only seen turkeys about 4 times and I've been here 18 years. But, I'm not a turkey hunter so I don't pay that much attention. Taken my deer here 5 years in a row on opening day and have taken quite a few elk before they changed the private land tag.

pagosawingnut225 yards is definitely in my range. They never show up during hunting season cause I'm only at 7000 ft. Before CO changed the private land cow tag, We regularly took a cow or two each year off that very hillside but now it ain't gonna happen. They're still nice to look at.
