I took another 5X5 bull elk from that fir and spruce jungle called " THe Bob Marshall Wilderness" It's pure black timber hunting and they can be anywhere. The .35 WHelen is the perfect rifle for this kind of work. Shot mine on the 5th day. Only one other (a nice 6X^) taken on that early hunt. Probably do it again in 2005.
Now I havbe to wash and repack gear as I;'m leaving for Newfoundland next week.
