KroilSpot and Stalk Black bear - British Columbia
This is Grizzly country. You can feel the hair stand up on the back of your neck at times. Some big black bears call this home too.
The trout fishing alone is worth the trip...
You glass the green slopes to find them and put a sneak on them. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. Wounding one is not an option unless you like following them into the alders. But sometimes you just get lucky.
The business end of a big black bear.

Big country, big trout and big bears. It doesn't get any better.

Have to agree with you on "enough gun"... I was looking to see what it was when I spotted the 340 Wby... Now you know why I bought the 338-378 Wby

... Might get a chance to hunt brownies with a friend in Alaska one of these years... Wanted to make sure I had "enough gun"
