Last week sightings of a mountain lion were reported in CT with photos of paw prints.
CT DEP said they don't exist in CT. Last night a mountain lion was killed on the Wilbur Cross Pkway ! Probably the same cat !

Could be a bunch of them. They are a lot of places that many folks never see them.
